So I finally fixed this bug that I’ve lived with for a while in FireFox. For some reason the bookmarks toolbar did not display any bookmarks in it at all. It was completely empty no matter how many times I added a bookmark to the correct folder. It happened after I installed an update to Firefox a long time ago and was never fixed after subsequent updates. I searched Google, and the Mozilla forums, I looked up some of the bookmark bugs all with no luck.

Finally I went to Firefox help and one of the things they suggested doing before submitting a bug was to create a new profile with -profilemanager. After creating a new profile my bookmarks toolbar now works!

This is just something that has been aggravating me for a very long time.
